Has anyone stayed at gooloogong, We have a small but free campground, it seems to get several visitors each week.
it's a good place to stay if you are passing through or there is plenty to do in the surrounding towns.

Below is a review I found on the net, The park and play equipment has all just been upgraded

Gooloogong Caravan Park, Gooloogong
All pets allowed. Free little park is opposite store in Main street behind rest area. This little park is a freebie although a donation in box provided would be good. The amenities are clean with a hot shower in both ladies and gents. These amenities are clean but very basic. There is only one power box however 4 can hook up to it. One single tap for all. There is room for approximately 6 other rigs if one does not need power. Sites are reasonably flat. There are no designated sites so one parks where one likes. There is a three night limit. Amenity number was adequate to cope with the number of people, are close to all sites, were clean, condition is reasonable, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water. Some level sites, average sized sites, no sites with concrete annex slabs, shade to some sites, drive-through sites. Quiet, open & roomy park, no permanents. No bbqs. Excellent playground in good condition. No pool. Suitable for few days, well maintained park.
Likes: This little park is a great spot to camp overnight. This park is the perfect spot to leave van and tour the local district. Best part it is FREE.
Roads: All roads are Bitumen
Date 06/2009. Park Rating 4.5:
