Need some help as i'm new

Postby kevinn9ch » Sun Sep 20, 2009 10:34 pm

Hello guys,

My friends and i are going for a road trip from Sydney to Hunter Valley and Blue mountain.

There are 5 of us and we're considering the option of renting a motorhome. As we're new to this ..we have some concerns regarding renting a motorhome. Hope there is anyone out there who can help! Thanks!

1) There is a water tank with 150L of water for showering. We're worried that there might not be enough for the 5 of us for 4days.. How do we go about getting more water? Do we go to petrol kiosk for water?
2) if it is a 4berth motorhome, can we travel around sitting 5 people in the vehicle?
3) Where can we park? Can we park off road, on dirt road ..and normal packing space? Our motorhome is 6.8M long. Do we need a permit?
4) Do we have to purchase the chemical use to break down the waste in the toilet? Or do you think the renting company will provide? If not, where can we purchase them?

Regards
Kev

Hi Kev and WELCOME to the forum. We are most happy to help but I suspect you will probably get more info from a Motorhome forum so I suggest you might like to give this one a go as it seems to specifically relate to Au.
