Hi all :hello:

Involved with a few fishing forums and have been looking for a camping forum since buying a CT over the last month and wanting to get it on the road and visit some great spots along the way. Have done a bit of camping before with the family but it has always involved taking the boat and restricting our movement.
Took the CT for a test run around the corner the other weekend and had a ball. :*** We (1 wife, 2 boys) are now keen to be a bit more nomadic now and will be heading up the coast these school hols. Budget is stretched to do the trip but guess we will have more fun. :-bang
Anyhow, top site and hi to all.

Hi caveman and WELCOME to the forum. Great to see another camping family out and about enjoying the great outdoors.

Sometimes the simple things in life give us the greatest pleasure and it will only be a matter of time before you are all totally hooked on camping....which is defintely a financially more attractive holiday.

Have a look back through some of the old posts and I am sure you will pick up some tips and tricks to save you some money as well.

Have a great holiday.....

Cheers all

Apart from having a ball on the road, planning and prep. after work is also a top time. We like turning a 2 week trip into 6- a couple of weeks organising, a couple doing and 2 more talking about a great time. even without the boat, fishing is still on the cards as the boys talked me into a rod holder in their kayak (or could I see the benefits before everyone wakes up). Your'e right Gypsylady, simple things in life are the best. Have been having a great time looking around the site and picking up some great ideas.
