Wanted - Multi Fold Bed

Postby amanda » Wed Oct 21, 2009 9:25 am

Single or double "folding frame" style bed wanted. I need one for an older gent that is coming camping with us as he finds it a bit difficult to get up off a mattress at floor level. I therefore don't want to spend the money on a new one, as I porbably won't use it too often in the future.

These are often available in Kmart Amanda and usually for a fairly reasonable price if on special. I bought my mum one a few years back.

I've been keeping an eye on their prices and the cheapest they have at the moment is around $100, which I don't really want to spend for a "one-off" trip.

That is a bit costly, think I paid $69 for mum's bed.

Fingers crossed one will come up on here for you.

For a one off use this might be closer to a reasonable price range:

These are not really suitable for an older person Ozzy, they tip too easily when sitting on the side. You really need something very stable.

This is a hard one Amanda as most of those fold up beds are not very tall. If he has trouble getting up it may be even worse on something not that far off the ground. There are plenty on eBay.
