Heading off to Melbourne soon can anyone suggest some good camping spots along the way. Going via the Newell Hwy . Returning via the Hume Hwy to Sydney ,then back to Brisbane via the Pacific Hwy. Travelling with kids and a camper trailer.

Moonie Beach Caravan Park (has big treed area for tents, camper trailers), or Red Rock (Just north of Coffs Harbour)

Awesome beaches around that area.

It's about 350 km from Brisbane, 5 hours? so could be your last stop before getting back to Brisbane. But i'm sure there's better spots, just not sure of any.

HI, If you are going to Coonabarabran, we stayed at John Oxley Park recently found it to be very good.

Recently stayed at Moonie Beach Caravan Park for several nights and I must say the facilities (toilets, showers and camp kitchen) were among the cleanest I've seen.
Park managers were friendly and helpful.
Great location.
Would gladly recommend.
