South Western Australia Locations

Postby haslam77 » Mon Jan 04, 2010 7:15 pm

I am trying to find a place to camp in south western australia that has the following facilities available

*Dogs allowed
*Next to water so boats can be left in overnight
*Camp fires allowed

The current one our family visits every year is going down hill but we would like to continue the tradition elsewhere

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks
Rob

South Western Australia , is a big piece of land, a more specific area would help.

Hi Haslam77

You could try Ozcamps.net There might be campsites that are dog friendly in the area you are interested in,

Cheers

Kev's suggestion is a good one....see link: http://ozcamps.net/

We do have a couple of members from WA on here but I suspect they are out camping.

We are back went to Bussleton with freinds before Xmas! Had a great time despite swarms of flies.

Unfortunatley (for him) we leave our furry freind behind when camping so have no experience of sites that except dogs, are you looking at Caravan Parks or bush camping?

Just had a quick Google-
http://www.camping.com.au

used the search box on the right and came up with a list of sites that allow dogs, but I guess there is nothing as good as a personal recomendation.

the camping.com.au is a good help but does it cover the majority of the camping places out there?
