I get jealous when i see all these camp setups, nice tables full of food, that hot water shower!! and nice annexes!

Derek's is just too neat, there's something wrong with that ::()

Some really nice pics there... dunno if I should bother with these...

Our humble tent...

Plenty of room on a 9mx9m site!!!

Mmmm, spag bol!!! Our little camp stoves were fantastic! Would've been lost without them!

Jack's first fish!!!

"What do you reckon Dad? Lunch?"

Had a great time, although I don't think the dogs appreciated being tethered or collared for so long (they have the run of the yard at home!)

Got out of there a day before the big downpour hit Alexandra/Eildon... would've been ugly in a tent!!! 150mm in a few hours!

Delightful pix - thank you for posting them  Always good to see other setups.

Those single-burner el cheepo stoves are terrific ... especially if you don't get away often or for very long. Hauling those heavy cylinders and getting them tested is a right pain unless you're doing a great deal of travelling.

How do you fit all the bodies and bits into a sedan and a trailer? Great packing!

Yeah, a bit of forward planning!!!! It's amazing how many doonas and pillows etc. you can squeeze into the boot of a Dunnydoor!!!
The trailer had the tent, esky, table, the dogs' bed (!!! :? ), a clothes horse (!!!??? ;) ), camp chairs, stretchers, dunny tent, fishing rod, radio, fold out kitchen unit, all our clothes, blah blah blah.....

It towed really well too... gotta balance the whole thing I guess.

And yep... the single-burner el cheepo stoves are terrific!!!

My pre-caravan purchase camp - a dodgy old oztrail tent with poles missing - so I use my car to create an awning of sorts. This was my camp at Bestbrook Mountain resort, Cunninghams Gap, QLD. Pics taken last month. The lake had been dry for months until a huge downpour in the week before my stay saw the creek overflow pipe that fills the lake become my private spa pool/ plunge pool in the January heat and the farmer kindly left me an old portaloo to use too.
And voila! My lakeside penthouse set-up complete with ensuite and spa!
Ah the serentity! Awesome spot - can't wait to go back...

Glad no-one's said "sucked in!" yet!!!
Lisa, you seem to be a "get into it" sort of camper... I reckon you'll look back in years and think "That was great!!"

Looks like you're on your own... you need someone to share the good times with! (not the en-suite though!!!)

What make you think Lisa is on her own....someone had to take the pic and being on your own is not always a bad thing.

The world does not have to travel in pairs like Noah's Ark.....lots of people enjoy their own company...solo is good.
