Help needed re Aldi 3 way fridge using on gas mode

Postby Dettie » Sun Jan 10, 2010 4:14 pm

I'm camping at Seal Rocks at the moment (Yes, they have WiFi lol) with my son and am having trouble getting my fridge to chill in gas mode. I've only used it in AC mode before yesterday.

Heat is coming out from the top so I know the pilot light must be lit and gas connected properly. We arrived yesterday afternoon and it was already cold from being in the car on 12 volt mode. I lit and set the gas thermostat to high and had the bottom dial for when it's in AC/12v mode in the off position, which is what I thought the instructions said (I left the manual at home). If anyone else with an Aldi 3 way knows what I'm talking about think of any suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks! :)

My caravan 3 way gas dial needs to be on 4 and no more .
If I set it on maximum on gas it will not work.
Make sure your fridge is reasonably level as well.
Not an Aldi owner but I hope it helps.
