Hi from Mt Evelyn, Vic

Postby MotherJedi » Sun Jan 10, 2010 11:01 pm

Hi Everyone,

We have just arrived back home after our 2nd camping adventure!

My husband and I took our 3 kids to Apollo Bay last Easter, and this Christmas we have spent 3 weeks at Rosebud Foreshore.

We upgraded our tent for our Rosebud adventure. We have a 3 room for us, storage and the 18mth old. The 2 others share a tent erected abutting onto ours.

We went well, although despite my husbands lack of worry, I worry about my 6 and 4 yo being so on their own so to speak.

Anyway, I look forward to learning lots on this forum!!

Regards,
B

:hello: Welcome to the site.

Although I don't post often (and go camping less often), I do get on here most nights.

You will get plenty of good advice from the members here.
Cheers,

Hi MotherJedi,

Welcome ro the forum, there is plenty of info here and you can always ask a question if you need more info.
Thats great you have been camping, you must have the camping bug too!
I worried about my kids when we put them in a separate tent at about the same age, of course they were fine and they loved there own space.

HAPPY CAMPING
Cheers Tina

With youngsters in their own tent....always run with your 'gut' instinct and if you feel concerned in any way put them in with you for the nights.

Usually the tents are small enough to put inside the main tent, and you don't need to peg it down.
