Port Stephens

We camped at the Melaleuca camp site at Anna Bay.
It poured with rain but we had a great time none the less.
The site owners are wonderful people and they make you feel really welcome.
Definately going back again

Cheers all

Some of my growing up years were around Port Stephens. Lived at Nelson Bay for a few years and did a lot of fishing at Anna Bay and other places.

My 5yo daughter went there after Xmas with her dad and a bunch of friends! She loved it too. Lots of tame animals apparantly.

I passed and went to my usual spot at Mystery Bay. :)

Hi all,

Sorry I didn't take many pics, just a few of 'Josie' the tame Kangaroo.
I'll get some the next time we go up there.
Just a word of warning, choose your departure time carefully. We left on a Saturday morning, just when everyone else was leaving the area. The traffic was horrendous, the queues took hours to get through.

Cheers
