Hi - sunny coast retro caravan nut here!

Hey all,

I am a Sunshine Coaster and single mum who LOVES camping, road trips and even better; caravans! I recently aquired an early 70's style Chesney 16ft caravan and am doing it up and all set to hit the road soon once the refurb and rego is dealt with. Keep an eye out for the soon-to-be hot pink eyesore that will be my set up coming soon to a camping ground near you...the inside is mostly done.. windows fixed, wall laminex painted pale pink, hot pink fake fur upholstery done, kitchen has been removed to make more room and lighter load and I'm planning on doing black and white tiles on the floor and hot pink exterior. Yes, it's barbie's camper van - the one I never had as a kid - in grown up size!

My son just qualified for state athletics and it's in Townsville in March so I'm thinking it might be out first ROAD TRIP with the new van ::)

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!
