Great place to camp, trout in the river nice walks and peaceful when the trailbike idiots are not around to disturb the peaceful campers take your own toilet if poss as the toilets provided are a bit on the dark side. All in all a great family camping ground.

Visited 23/09/2009.

Had a number of sites to pick from, Mostly on a hill, Finding a site that was not littered by Broken glass, Bottle tops, and other rubbish was an issue,, Toilet facilities consisted of 1 urinal and two seats, drop bottom, A bit on the Rough side as the drop plates were missing from the Toilets.

The area is lovely a few walks can be done, the Tooronga Falls and Cathederal falls walks were closed when we were there but the fences had been kicked down so as a family we ventured to the Falls and it was a great walk

The river flows all year round and the water was fine to use provided it was boiled first.

apart from the broken glass and the Loud music from the younger groups it was good.

No Firewood is available on-site but a number of the 4W Drives seemed to find plenty of wood or should I say entire trees including root systems to drag to their sites..

Not sure if we would camp there again but would be worth a day trip

what about the other less popular campsite 10km the other way from Noojee?
The Poplars Reserve? I am hearing that this is the tamer version of Toorongo Falls?
Has anyone been there?
