I notice that bloke has a garbage bag lining his loo.....I hope he doesn't "do a Dettie" and accidentally leave it in the tent before disposing of it! Because from the looks of things I'd say he's doing a little more than a tinkle!
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!

I will now be able to 'Do A Dettie' in my very own Porta-Potty I bought from eBay last night. I'll just have to be careful with emptying it so I don't Do another entirely different sort of Dettie trick!

A friend suggested I just use a bucket but... not sure how my *nasty* ;) friends would react if I tipped it over in the middle of the night! ::()

Emptying them is a total breeze. It might depend on the park you're in but the several times I have emptied ours (as chief tinkler, I am also chief emptier) I just joined the procession of people holding cassettes and lidded buckets. No one bothered with the dump point which are designed (I imagine) for hoses rather than cassettes. All were chucked down the loos and flushed. There's nothing to spill and they empty very simply and they do not stink. Just re-fill with whatever stuff you use for hygiene and away you go, tinkling merrily once again. Ours got emptied every second morning. When you get home, take it out into the back yard and hose it out, leave it to dry in the sun and pack away for next time. Oh and take the most septic-friendly toilet paper you can find, it breaks down and doesn't clog the emptying process.

Quilton 3 ply is about the best toilet paper to use IMO, breaks down really quickly.

Thanks co-tinklers! I like the Quilton brand and pretty sure we use it at home sometimes, so I'll have to remember that one!
