Kirra Beach Tourist Park - Easter Trip

Kirra Beach Tourist Park - Easter Trip

Postby snake_dr » Thu Apr 08, 2010 12:37 pm

Thought I would share my easter camping adventure with you :-)

We popped down to kirra tourist park, run by gold coast council, and had a good time. We had 6 sites together and our sites lacked tree's but there are plenty of tree's to laze around under.

The park was nice and clean, friendly and the only downside is its right next to Gold Coast Airport, but thats not to much of an issue.

Our neighbours had a little 5yo girl who loves babies, so we had an extra body in our campsite most of the time, but this was good, she kept the boys happy.

I have pics on photobucket, ive attached a few as well. We are going to tallebudgera creek caravan park for 5 days over anzac day weekend now as well, yipee!

ill just remove the attachments, its painful resizing attachments just for the forum, wonder if one of those auto resizing bits of software could be added to the forum that resizes them.

I always use Outlook to resize mine...send them to myself and save them to the desktop for attaching.

yer its easily done, but buy the time ive resized and sorted them for photobucket, then fiddled around with them for printing, it's just painful to go through the process again for the forum. sorted!

Hi Snake_dr........One of the few times we took the campervan but both Avis & I commented on how clean the camp was, the Lady in the office was also very helpful........We were just talking tonite about going back some nite to stay in the cabins for a change.....they looked really nice, looking out over the lake.

Gypsy...We will have to leave her home with her 'Baby sitter' to 'guard the house.....unfortunatly, its not a Pet friendly camp.
We enjoy the odd night out at the 'Twin Towers', so we really don't like leaving Bailie home locked up in a strange place.
