Amanda, Peter didn`t have a reservation for a camping.com group and he wanted to know your sir name in case you booked it under that..He did say he would speak to his other half though. You have to stay three nights because of the long weekend i think some of them were only staying two.

I can't believe that he (Peter) is not giving you a deal (group discount) or some similar offer.

No he is not Gypsy and i even asked about being a single but no that is the price for the long weekend, actually i`m only going because it is a group meet but other wise $35 a night for unpowered site plus $2,50 per dog would not be a regular place for me. Plus i have to stay 3 nights can`t just do Friday & saturday so it will be an expensive weekend for me.

I personally think that is a bit sad PJ, especially when I see all the 'free' promotion this site has given them over time.

I did say some time back that I thought they were a bit expensive and I don't like their deposit requirement as well.

There are many out there who are much more reasonable in cost and less demanding with their paymnt requirements and coupled with the additional cost for taking your canine family, they are definitely off my list.

It will be interesting to see how they fare over time.

Looks like this one has gone down the gurgler as well.....i will be un-booking as they are waiting for a deposit or they need the site for some one else since it is the long weekend..

I can't say I am surprised PJ.....but I must say I am disappointed for you.

Hey everyone, we're picking up our camper trailer this afternoon and going away at this time sounds good. We're definately up for this as i know it has gone a bit quiet on this thread. So count us in. Is this camp ground still a goer or should we look at somewhere else. Regards Shawn & Lisa., Bayside, Brissy.

They certainly have peak and non peak seasons which is pretty strange when you consider where it is located.....it is not like is is on the tourist stip.

Not sure if it is still a goer or not.
