Hi everyone ... another sandgroper is on the loose in here. :armsup
I've just bought myself a camper trailer and have done the toy shopping ... just about ready to do a trial weekend away. Can't wait to breathe in that beautiful new canvas air & pop the first cork.

I used to do lots of camping before the distractions of life hoicked me off in different directions but in the last few years I've found that the dream has only been sleeping. Plan A is to get a few things sorted then do it ... the Land of Oz ... new adventures around every corner.

Does anyone here have the experience of doing it solo around Australia? A bit daunting but hey, brave is good!

Pinks :cheers

"On The Road" mag had a story about a granny (age 88 ) who's done it 13 times (started at age 75). Can't be too difficult

I think you have to be that type of person who can spend a long time by themselves. Not me, I tried going away once camping by myself, but had to come home early. I would rather travel with someone else. I have seen a lot of people travelling around by themselves though.
