Hi Gypsy....They don't appear to have a web-site but their business card reads------

Glasshouse Mountains Tourist Park
466 Steve Irwin Way....Beerburrum QLD 4517
Ph........07-54960151
Fax.......07-54960363

Excellent Lady in the office.....Nice clean Toilets....Great facilities/cook-house if you choose a camp-site with no power (cost us $20- nite...)'pet friendly' and very close to Bris.....Took us 50 minutes from Strathpine.

Hope this helps....

Cheers.......Rosco

Gypsy,,,I think you will find that the one you have listed above is the one thats just up the road (has a different ph / fax #)...and is not pet friendly......

Took the kids to Sharp park last weekend. Good place and nice and close. The park was pretty busy too.

There was a guy there who was care-taking. He did a great job, as when we were asleep some guys turned up and wanted to 'party' right next to our tent. He very kindly sent them on their way.

We also went bush walking at Binna Burra and saw a tree fall over right behind us. Had a great time!

Sharp Park is a great spot, hey Ben. There was a time when you were not allowed to camp in the area in which you were camped, it was for the day trippers only. All camping was down the back behind the fence and toilets.

When I was there last year (Feb) they had opened it up more to the campers and this has made it more popular and hence greater numbers.

They have had a couple of different caretakers in the last couple years and looks like they might have a another good one.

Cheers....

The military training grounds are nearby and we saw a few unimogs and land rovers going past. I could have sworn I heard machine gun fire during the night. I asked around and no-one else did. Must have been my overworked imagination! :armsup

There used to be a time when they would close the road when practice was taking place....times have changed and maybe it was what you ate for dinner Ben. I am sure it added to the thrill of it all though.
