Yer,,,Real nice pics Gypsy.....(From Avis & I)...
Can you name the birds ??? still a bit of a novelty for Kiwis seeing all these different coloured birds.
We love hearing the Kook'ys doing their business early in the morning

Ha, ha Titch....

Rosco.... as you know there was a Kookaburra, the bright red/green is a King Parrot and the Galah being the pink and grey one.

I too love to wake to the sound of the Kookaburras laughing when camping, it always feels like a happy sound to me.

The Galahs in the bush are always a more vibrant colour pink and the King Parrot was brilliant. The camera did not do him justice.

You are right Gypsy the King Parrots are really bright and beautiful close up.

The out-laws have a place down the NSW South Coast and get heaps of them feeding in their backyard also Rainbow Lorrikeets too.

Bit like a mini Currumbin in their backyard. :lol:

This one was exceptionally bright XB....probably more so on a dull day.
