Group Campsite Help!

Postby kalouise » Tue May 18, 2010 10:01 pm

Hi All,

Looking to find a place where we could bring about 20-30 families for a group camp experience in October. We'd like to be near water (beach first choice, lake second), but it is hard to find a place that can accommodate such a large number and be flexible.

We are in Brisbane and looking for something fairly close (2 hrs?)

Any thoughts would be super appreciated!

Karen

You need to put a location in your Bio, makes answering these questions a little easier

Isalnd Reach at Imbil is big enough and near water and fits your criteria of 2 hours from Brissy. http://www.ircamping.com.au/

Not sure what you mean by being 'flexible' Karen???

Thanks - we've been up to Island Reach but I had forgotten about it. Great spot.

We need a place without "assigned sites" in the sense that there are always a few who register late etc...

Thanks!
