It was quite busy there for a "normal" weekend but we liked what we saw and have placed a booking request for a site in Daintree Woods. We walked the whole park looking at our different options but thought it was just a bit quieter up there as we can imagine Easter will be pretty packed there so hopefully this has been a good choice. Lots of water in the creek too which would be good in Summer -- not sure we will be taking a dip at Easter though.
The lady at the office was really friendly and helpful which was always good for a first impression. When we got there she was helping a couple whose pup had a paralysis tick. Apparently these are quite common there from what we hear so will have to keep an eye on the kids and do a bit of educating on ticks.
Interested to know if anyone else has been to Neurum Creek at Easter and whats it like. Have heard they organise different activities too which sounds pretty good.
also thought the prices weren't too bad - cheaper then Goomburra where we went last Easter -- though the site fee and the price for dogs are a bit $$$
