Hey guys,

Just need some help with camping spots around Kenilworth, QLD. There will be two people travelling with either a camper trailer or tent. Just need some advice about if anyone has camped there and where you would recommend?

Thanks a million
Ash :cheers

Hi,

We have had some staff members camp in that area, here is a link: http://www.derm.qld.gov.au/parks/conondale/camping.html There are 3 camping areas to choose from.

There is a creek crossing on the entry which I suppose you will need to check with the park to see what it's condition is before you go. Our staff didn't have a 4x4 however and there were people with campers in the camp grounds.

The creek is nice for a swim too, but it would be fairly cool at this time of year.

Would reccommend checking these campsites out.

I have camped at Charlie Morland, Booloumba Creek and the Homestead. All pretty nice places.

There's a few good bushwalks around Charlie Morland and Booloumba Creek if you're keen for some excercise.
