The chocolate is part of the cake too. It's usually really good, but this one I mustn't have mixed properly as there are some really strong bicarb bits!
:--?
Doesn't seem to stop me eating it though!

Okay, now I'm really gonna study. Ready, go! Okay, now really ... go!

I drive myself nuts sometimes.

I reckon you'd get a very different taste with the pickled canned stuff. Go the fresh stuff! It's pretty easy, though I do use gloves when peeling them.

The beetroot is very subtle in taste, but makes for a moist and richly coloured cake.

I really will start studying any moment now!

That's terrible PJ....sorry to hear your news, hope it all goes well for you. That is the sort of crap you can well do without. Maybe you need a weekend away to regroup...

I just got off Skype with a friend in Darwin who has been travelling....she is working as a checkout chick up there and enjoying every minute of it.

Sorry to hear that PJ....

Any work is OK when you know that you will be moving on to some new destination every so often and checkout chick is not so bad as you can be social ALL day!!!!

Thanks Gypsy for that clip it is just gorgeous.....Our old Lab (Jed - now an angel dog) and our first cat were like that, the cat used to sleep on his back and make beds on him with her claws....just wished I had a video camera and had got it on film.....we always talked about it and sending it to funniest home videos!!!

Off to lunch now with some girlfriends!!!! :armsup An hour of pure bliss....then back to the grindstone!!! The girls keep me sane..... :***

Although one girlfriend will be missing today as she and her family are on their way back from the cape so I feel your pain PJ....very jealous....and miss her..only 2 weeks till we hear all about her travels...CAN'T WAIT!!!!! :cheers
