Man I thought I was going nuts I couldnt find a new topic or post reply button - suddenly they just appeared (I've been looking for close on 30 minutes!)

I tried to send a PM to joy but I had no send option only a save

The "reactivation" process is a bit long winded and not very straight forward. An email appologising for the inconvenience and explaining the process "might" be a good idea. Not every one is tollerant enough to spend 30 minutes looking for post reply buttons...
Sounds like we might have a few teething problems for a while (most forums do for a while until things settle down.)

Also I think the domain mail server is slow I "reactivated" my about about 10:30 and the email didnt come through till after 11 and then it came through 3 times because I kept hitting the "resend activation email" button.

Other wise the change is welcome the sites needed an upgrade :+

I thought the transfer process was pretty easy? I didn't need to reactivate my account either. Just logged in, put in my name and email address and away I went. Without Reply buttons, but it all works fine now. :+

I've not been able to find the forum all day...originally thought there was some problem from work. Could not find it at home either and ended up doing a Google search. Very difficult at present.

Will there be a link from the old forum to this one?? is this the final product??

There is no font colour option either....will this be returned??

and does anyone know who JOY is? Her profile pic looks like she works for AAMI car insurance and is ready to take our calls, but she hasn't answered me yet.

It was my understanding that Joy is AD's wife/partner. I think I have only ever seen her on here once or maybe twice in the time I have been a member.

It's not a really good transition IMO.

Lots of wasted real estate with the skin that's been used too.

BTW, and what the hell is with my profile being set with an active dating profile?? I suggest everyone review their profile for any personal info that's been displayed too.

EDIT:

Joy seems to be a support person and not who I had originally thought she was which would explain her absence over the years.
