Well...Wev'e done it......

Spent the day looking at Camper Trailers that we have been bidding on...and decided on the spot when we saw the NSW manufactured G I C .....left the others for dead,,Even the welding is spotless and very well done,,& only a few months old.
The owner had bought quite a bit for it ...i.e...Brand new innerspring Queen mattress etc.....
Anyway.....I got it for my price...so was pretty pleased with that.[new camper.jpg[/attachment]

Well done. Let the fun begin. I spent most of the day looking at camp trailers and now the missus wants to get one.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you buy it for?

Mt warning will be the christening,,,,to much dam work at present to get away...(at the accid plant for the next 2 days...0600...to...1800 shifts).......
then 2 days on the big wheel...then 2 day + 2 nites at golden circle (did I mention my day off ??? lol)...plus I've just done the last 7 on as well........bummer
Gypsy,,,The quality of the G I C is very good if anyone is looking for....from the quality presentation,,,welding etc...to the ''15'' grade canvas....plus we love the colour...bit different.
HOPE THIS KEEPS THE OLD GIRL HAPPY FOR AWHILE....Shes home now transferring ''stuff'' from the othe camp trailer.......then shes off to 'K-MART''...where they have a brilliant gas 2top cooker with an oven...''The people who we bought the trailer from have one....and love it.

Cheers

Rosco

Yes it is different Rosco....certainly not normal here in this climate to have a roof that is darker than the walls.

So a shopping spree coming up for Avis.....it will be good fun now until yo have it all kitted out....think that is probably just as exciting as the purchase of the CT itself.

Congrats! Can't wait to see it in the flesh at Mt Warning. I think I saw these at the camping show is brissie when it was here. The skylight was an interesting idea and I'm wondering how you will like it. You might only get a view of the lovely tarp you put over it! I know I would.
I remember seeing these on ebay but in the end decided against them.
I love my little old jabiru, (which is now known at camel).
Wish I could go shopping with your missus! Unfortunately I don't really need anything. But there's always a bargain to be found. You might have to work a bit longer to pay for her purchases. :***
Hang on, I have to be nice so you'll help me with my setup... ;)

We discussed the taking of our tarps.....which is whats going to happen....just take them....as we want to try it unprotected from the elements for the 1st time...Will be interested in how cool it gets at nite with-out one....and how warm during the day...We were both amazed at how cool the sunroof kept....aparently theres something in it to protect it and last longer in the sun....hey,,,if we don't like it....we just won't use it....(don't want her in doors getting any funny ideas....sleeping under the stars)

Got a floor as well TO KEEP THEM DAM SNAKES OUT !!!!!

There shouldn't have to be much more shopping as we have most things now....Still if it keeps her happy....thats a ''cheap'' price to pay for a man to get some peace & quiet.......Ay 'Titch' :***

:cheers

Nice poemTo My Wonderful Wife

How do I begin to tell you how lucky I am
to have you in my life?
I'll start by saying what a gift you gave me
the day you became my wife.

You're my best friend in the good times
and my rock in times of sorrow.
You're the reason for sweet yesterdays
and my promise for tomorrow.

I never thought I could feel this loved
until you became my wife.
You made this year and every year
the best one of my life.
Life is not about how hard you can hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
