Hey guy's,

Just thought I'd let some of you know that Aldi have an upcoming catologue on the 23rd Sept with some camping gear.

things that may be of particular interest are:

Kids camping set, tent, 2 sleeping bags, 2 torches and 2 chairs, incl. storage bag. Pink or Blue $39.99
Queen size air mattress, incl foot pump $19.99
Self inflating air mattress, single $29.99
Ensuite toilet / shower tent $39.99
Porta loo $79

And something I bought last year and have used through out winter.
Hooded sleeping bag $19.99

dodgy dave's a spammer!!

just joking!

I went to Aldi once, what a wierd place, it's like a paralell world with all the wierd imitation brands, we had a great time picking on all the chip and cereal packaging designs and how they're direct rip offs of other brands.

Maybe i should get out more. :-bang

I felt like that the first time I went in there, but it's not too bad, especially the middle isle with all the goodies and junk.

The sleeping bad I bought last year I found to be pretty good, I used it in below freezing temps and with a hot water bottle it worked very well. The same rated bag elsewhere would've cost me about $60-80

I got our hot water bottles with covers from Aldi this year to take camping and they are great!!!

I agree with you about the paralell world Stevo....I don't usually shop there but sometimes they have some good stuff.

we were screwed when we got to the counter, no bags or boxes, so we had to carry heaps of stuff out to the cars, pretty funny really, i guess we're too used to bags and stuff. No we were too tight to pay $1 for a trolley, no not really, just too lazy i guess. :-bang

yeah but that would require one finding a $2 coin, going over to the feral trolley section, working the stoopin mechanism, wheelin the trolly around (not so hard i guess), and then returning the trolley to the feral rolley section and working the stoopid mechanism again to retrieve the money. ????

and i bet the handles are coated with feral toxins, like some kind of fecal echoli germs from Gympie rednecks!

And I am telling you this why??

I like a drink...love a good scotch....Glenfiddich...a good port, sweet white wine, Country Cream/Bailey's, Kahlua/Tia Maria and lately I have been drinking Maibu and pineapple juice....a real girlie drink.
