Southern N.S.W

couldn't let the Banana Benders keep boasting about their sites --- without a reply.

came across this one on the Web http://www.wollondillyriverstation.com
check out the park's conditions for pets !!!
only live less than a hour's drive from here and the area is reknown for it's gouges along the river

will have to try it out
but be warned it doe's get sub -0c during winter -- nice cool summer temps (<=25c avg) though

cheers

What a blow that I live so far away and what a GREAT attitude to 'pets'. Mind you I have seen some negative comments about 'Brian' and his attitude somewhere.

What a fantastic list - will remember this for future reference.

We are going on our first camping trip this summer, but unfortunately the dogs are not coming, they are going to the kennels.

I would love to take them, although the man would prefer not to. But that really doesn't matter anyway as both of them are naughty and need a bit more socialisation before I subject other campers and dogs to their rambunctious disobedience lol

Camping with a naughty dog wouldn't be much fun either. I love that I can trust my dog to not get into trouble of annoy anyone so I don't have to worry about her or her behaviour.

Are your dogs still young?

Yes chippy....but in saying that I have since heard that they have cleaned up their place and act a bit in more recent times.

It might be worth a look....though I wont go back myself.

There were a number of things happen....the place was was not well presented, had difficulty getting into the laundry because they owners were always doing the washing from the cabins. The grounds were not well maintained, the ablutions block was not regularly cleaned....all sorts of things.

On one occasion I went up to the office to use the internet....the owner spent 15 minutes of my paid time complaining to me about some issue he had...could/did not wait until my session was over.

There is more Chippy but I am sure you get the picture.

Gyps,
Fair enough! We all have a right to enjoy our holidays, and nothing taints it more than not getting what you expected when you pay for something. Hopefully things have picked up a bit. I guess I will find out if we ever get out that way.

Cheers Chippy :D
