Hey everyone!

Well I FINALLY picked up my "new" CT today. Its a Cub Kamaparoo. It is 15 years old but still in pretty good nick. I brought it home this arvo and gave it a good wash. Now where to begin??? lol I have sooo many plans.

Cheers Chippy :D

Looks good.
People like Pedders can help you bring the suspension up to specs.
Brakes will be a different ball park, suggest you compare, repair with new.
I thing you have a good find. :?#

Hey Titch

I'll do some looking around and get some new bushes and shocks for the suspension (not going near Pedders in town as I havent heard good things... ) And I intend to remove the brakes and bearing ands redo them all. Althought they look suprisingly good. However for peace of mind it will pay to redo them ... Im also going to have a good spray around with some underbody paint and get some lanolin into the chassis rails and RHS where I can.

I totally agree with that Chippy....last place I would ever consider going after my experience with 2 of their outlets.

Vehicle Components are pretty good but not sure if the suspension etc you have is compatible.

Don't forgt the pics Chippy...

Currently have all the suspensions pulled out on the floor of the shed. New bushes, a bit of grease and some paint and it is all looking pretty schmicko! Have decided not to replace the shocks, they seem fine at the moment. I have some spare inthe shed in case something ever happens. Gotta love later night stints working in the shed .. lol

Hey all!

Have spent a fair bit of time in the shed this week. Trying to "suss out" the best way to mount jerry can, and gas bottle holders to the front. I have managed to lift the Spare tyre up a few inches, as I felt it was hanging down a bit far underneath. Have rewelded the support for the spare, and made new hold down handle for it.
Then I started on a support for where the battery box will eventually sit in front of the tyre. I have allowed a fairly large piece of checker plate to mount the box, as Im sure something else will get mounted there in the future. I mocked up where I think i will mount the bottles and jerries, although I might swap the bottle and the jerry around to fit better. Tomorrow Ill start on the stone deflector. I have made a few sketches of what I want, so hopefully it will work. And when I was poking around behind the shed this arvo I found some steel I'd forgotten about, so fingers crossed there will be enough there!

Heres some pics! ( I know how you all like them)
The drawbar before I removed the old holders.

Thats it for now!
