Thanks Poddle, i'll check it out. :cheers

I just ordered the ozcamps 5 book. I assume it has the same stuff that's on the site, looks like it more aimed at roadside caravan stop overs but has a few out of the way camp areas, lots of free ones.

I thought that may have been the one to which you were referring. I have CAW4 but am waiting until next year (hopefully March) when CAW6 is released.

yer i just refer to it as ozcamps 5 because of the website and you know how i don't read things properly.

Do you know if they have any state forest or national park camps in there aswell, or is it just non government ones?

I want to get out to Canarvan Gorge too, it's not too far away, but the only time i could go would be xmas, and it'd be too hot i assume.

Steve...if you can change it to the ''snaps edition''....do it.....well worth the extra few pennies....and there won't be another edition out for awhile as this one will be updated on line now......
One of the great things about the snaps is...it gives you an idea where you are going as theres a pic of most (not all)..the places in the book.....
Theres a number of places in it that you can ''Freedom Camp''.........We love ours

:cheers

They have always been updated online Rosco....nothing new or different there.

I do think the one with 'snaps' is better and that is the one I have.

The 'snaps' gives you a rough idea of what to expect which is why I like it.
