Hello from NSW

Postby Danielle B » Fri Oct 08, 2010 11:03 am

:hello:

Hi all, just stumbled across this forum and thought i'd join

I'm Dannii, and my husband and I live in the Southern Highlands, NSW with our 3 children 5yrs, 3yrs and 10 months.

We used to camp/4wd a fair bit before children, but haven't done a lot in the past few years. We bought a camper trailer about 2 years ago, but have only really used it a handful of times. Now that the weather is warming up and our youngest is a bit older, we'd love to get back into it.

Unfortunately we can't really do much serious off road stuff, we have a KIA Sorento so it would probably break on the first bump, lol. My husband does have a Hilux, but we can't fit all 3 baby seats in it :(

Looking forward to meeting some fellow campers and finding out about some great locations, etc.

Dannii :)

:*** Titch

Thanks for the welcomes Titch, stevo & xmasbaby67

Will see if i can find some piccies of the camper trailer to post, otherwise i'll take some on our next weekend away. Hubby just stopped in for lunch and i said we NEED to go camping soon, the kids will love it!

The camper is just an ebay cheapie. DH already had the trailer so we just needed something to go on top. So far it's been great. He's set it up pretty good, we don't exactly 'rough it', lol.

What are some of your favourite camping spots?

Haven't been to that many lately to have any favourites, but we did enjoy our trips to Collendel & Green Patch.
