Ive figured out how to do the screen, so that I will be able to re tension it if it stretches a bit. I dont want it tennis racket tight, but not flapping loose. All I have to do is get it sewn up.

Standard home sewing machine will sew it,use a uv safe thread.

I have to head down to mums in a few weeks .... she has a machine ... problem is mum wont be there and I have no idea how to use her machine! lol She would kill me if i damaged it. I willl see if one of my wifes friends has a machine and could do it for me ...

If you do manage to convince a friend to sew it for you, make sure you have the right size needle too. Otherwise it could get very messy. You know, It's all fun and games til someone loses an eye....

Yeah I have sewn plenty of canvas and leather before on mums machine. If only she wasnt going away ... :S
