Works with Camino. It's quick and I can see some other pages on the way, untidy that's all, but workable.

Hi Admin Guy ... the semi-auto login was working with both Camino and Safari. Now neither works. Even though I had ticked 'auto login' that never happened - not too worried about that but the filling-in of the email address and password from my Keychain has stopped and if possible, it would be great to have that facility back again.

Cheers

Hi CampGrrlz,
We did change the method in which it logs in so you may need to reset it but it seems to work fine here. I have had the guys test it in a number of browsers. It no longer logs you directly in but should still remember both user name and password. But maybe make sure you are not clearing cache or deleting cookies and you have auto login checked and let me know.

Regards,
The admin guy.

Erm, what do you mean 'reset it'?

Up to when you did whatever-it-was, my Keychain was filling in both username (the email address) and the password.

Now nothing is added by Keychain.

It never did despite the tick in the right box.

Activity_Dept wrote:But maybe make sure you are not clearing cache or deleting cookies and you have auto login checked

I've not done either of those things; auto login is not ticked - it never did work anyway. But I will have another go at logging in with it ticked and see what happens.

Right ... after clearing cache (gotta do that sometime!) ... the username and password and the 'auto login' are filled in. Hit 'login' button and bingo! All smiles again

Thank you!

Andrew, I have followed your instructions to clear cache, cookies etc.....auto login still not working.

I might add that all of my other auto logins do work fine, just not this one with camping.com.au since the upgrade. I am running FF 4.0 Beta 6

And YES I am waiting for the forum to be completely loaded!!

Do you only use one computer to access this site GP? or different ones at different times?

If you log in , then close everything, then start the browser again and come back to the site 10 minutes later do you have to log in again?

I do use different computers Steve, though only 2 at the moment. This is the one I am using mostly unless I am away traveling and YES I have to log in EVERY time.....2mins, 10mins or 2 days....it's always the same.

I am not sure about the lappy (IE8??) as I have not tried it in a little while.

ahh ok, i use this computer at work then my laptop at home, and each time i swap locations/computers i have to log in again, i assume it's something to do with cookies and browsers. But once i log in on one computer, i am logged in all day, i can close everything and go away and come back later and don't need to log in again. so i find it's ok for me.

Do you have a short email address and password, so it makes the log in process easier? :cheers

No, not especially....what irks me is that this is the only one I have any trouble with on any computer or operating system.
