Postby jezzabel » Fri Oct 22, 2010 4:40 pm

Well after a lot of umming and ahhing I've decided to get this tent
It's a big purchase for us, so want to know that I'm getting my every dollars worth!
I've done loads of research and know what they generally cost, can anyone tell me the best deal they know of?
Thanks.

Hi Jezzabel,

Cant help you with the price but Lin has a Black Wolf and can probably tell you.

But she has had problems with hers. See here for her opinion.

Thanks but all is good and I got a great price.

As for the tent pegs that Lin discusses, in think most people know that you don't actually ever use the pegs that tents come with

Give Down Under Camping or Tent World in Brisbane a call. There was a camping show on this weekend and I noticed the Blackwolf Turbo tents were on sale. I know you're not in Brisbane, but you might be able to use this price to price match locally.

Regarding the tent pegs - we use the standard supplied pegs with our Turbo 300 + and have no issues at all. They're pretty heavy duty.

Black Wolf Turbo is canvas and so a very different type of tent than my dome.

Enjoy your new purchase!
