12v Waeco Jug - free

Brand new, never used, cost me $50. Only tested twice, because i couldn't believe how slow it was the first time.

Perfect for people with plenty of time and power.

pick up Clontarf, or at the dump next week.

Yeah i reckon i could give anything away free? I guess i can't take it back to the stupid shop because there's nothing technically wrong with it. It's like saying the tent is no good because it takes too long to set up?

I can't believe that Waeco would sell such a peice of crap. I assume Waeco would just order the crap from some "Chinese Catalogue of Crap" and then get their name printed on the side, like they do with promotional crap, hats and stubby coolers. . and how can BCF sell such peices of crap?

I think i have thrown the box and receipt out anyway, i remember on the box it said if it's taking a long time to boil make sure you have sufficient power and cables sizes, yeah yeah it's working fine, nothing wrong with it if you don't mind starting it the night before because you want a cuppa in the morning! I have to set up my gas bottle and billy so i can have a few cups of tea while i wait for the Waeco jug to boil!

yeah, it's a nice idea, and if it worked it'd be great. I was a bit sus when i bought it, but thought surely with all the technology in the world now that it should be ok. I thought i'd be able to pull up somewhere on the side of the track/road and make a cuppa , should only take 5 minutes and not have to muck around with gas bottles, burners, billys. :-bang

People always seem to get caught out with those 12v kettles - not remembering that at best they'll put out 120w versus 2400w for a 240v one.

On a side note, I bought a Waeco 12v single cup drip filter unit and that will make you a cup of nice hot coffee in about 5mins from memory.
