Everyone must be off camping, or working ! :***

I've been trying to figure out where i should go at Christmas, because it's always hot i should camp near water, but where? ... I was looking through the ozcamp 5 book lastnight, there's a few dams around but i'm just not convinced about the camp areas... i'll keep looking though.

is that like Yamba and Evan Head? Nice places, i would imagine there'd be quite a few people there at xmas! I've stayed at Black Rock ( i think it's called ) ... that was a nice beach with caves, the campsite was a bit hot and exposed.

Not that I post a lot anyway, been busy helping Mum/Dad pack and Move from Frankston to Stawell.
We are now in packing mode to move there next Wednesday.
Stawell is only 20 min from The Grampians and close to several other great camping areas like Mt Buangor SP,
Mt Cole SF, Pyrenees Ranges and plenty more, so will have little excuse to not go camping more and reporting our adventures here in the near future. :?#
Some national parks have long waiting lists for camping reservations.

Ski boat....now there's a thought.....although I am not sure it quite fits the 'image'....Chill out more than anything. Fishing could very well be on the agenda too.

This is one of the places I will be visiting..http://theclarencegorge.com/index.html
along with Tooloom Falls as well.

Sorry everyone but work has just been crazy and I haven't had a chance to get on here and chat much

Just popping in today to catch up a little while I have a quick 5 mins spare. I hope next week will slow down a little so I can catch up with everyone.

:hello:
Rob, me and our dog are at Burren Junction for a few days. There's hardly anyone here. It's getting warmer but still quite pleasant, water in the pool is nice, not too hot. There are a lot of trucks going along the highway with the wheat crops almost ready to harvest.

Cheers Val and Rob
