NEWBEE

Postby Carol W » Tue Nov 23, 2010 7:43 pm

HI To all,

The Wragee Clan are at the moment living in Central QLD and I mean Central we moved here for work about 18months ago. We have always camped on the coast and do try to get back there when possible but have found new camping areas to much surprise.
We have been very presently surpised on how many free camping areas there are out here and the wonderful people they attract.
We have been able to cathc up with people on the ruturn holidays the year after and have made some good friends.
Our central QLD is a great place to relax and rejuvinate your batteries. You can be as busy as you want or just relax and enjoy. We see many travellers stop here to relax before heading off to their next destination and I have come to learn that this country is being supported by our travlers and their good will they bring with them. We look forward to hopefully catching up with maybe some old friends and some new ones soon.
Pat, Carol (Member) and Kurt. :hello:

Hi Carol
Whereabouts in central qld are you it certainly is a lot more relaxing out west than near the coast where too many people are in a rush.My most relaxing holiday I have had was when I smshed a gearbox out the other side of Thargomindah and was stuck there for a couple of weeks with no stress or rushing around

Barcaldine is a nice place to live i would think. I just got a new camper so hope to start getting out west again. It would be good for the kids too to get out and see how it is out west and get some fresh air and check out the stars in a night sky without all the light we have in here

don't mind being found again.
It is better than being lost.
We thinking about going to Lake Dunn for xmas if we can get in.
All the creeks and rivers running at top now so hopefully it might ease off a bit before xmas.
We could do with some camping.
Need my fix.
