You can never please everyone all the time.....it rains and people complain.....it doesn't rain and people still complain.......it's a catch 22.

Everything in moderation is my motto.

It's a lovely day here. Cloudy but warm. My kind of weather.

We only have some local flooding here and quite a few roads still closed. But everyone is posting photos of the dams overflowing. All the dams are now overflowing, which hasn't happened since 1998. It's just the most joyous sight!

So now the rain can stop for a little while. :)

Sounds pretty bad all over!

Does anyone know of a site that allows long term weather forecasts?
Would be handy to know what's coming up Boxing Day-NYE.

Cheers,

I agree Gypsy it is a catch 22 but it could have waited just one more month.

The poor farmers out here had absolute bumper crops worth millions and are now ruined.....after 10 years of drought then a flood the poor buggars are had it..... definately glad im not a farmer.....rice farmer maybe..

:hello:

Its a beautiful day in my neck of the woods. Yesterday was pretty good, but today is blue skys and sun. We MIGHT miss the bad weather forecast for tomorrow, they said rain for west of Nyngan and the Nth eastern NSW. So us in the middle MIGHT be lucky. But who knows????? Weather forecasters have been know to be WRONG !!! Coonamble, Warren, Dubbo Narromine Wee Waa and Pilliga isolated. Poor buggers.

:cheers

Now that's a sentiment I also share.......very tough on the land and IMO I feel the Govt should help them more....less taxes and interest free loans would be a good starting point.

Fingers crossed the flood effected areas don't get much more rainfall in the next two days like they say they are forecasting.

Hope anyone in a flood affected area stays safe & well.

We have storms developing here today and the wind is getting up there so not looking good......but we don't have floods to deal with thank heavens.

Glad you are not in the Pilliga now Gypsy. They say Wee Waa is an island.
