This weather is depressing...

Postby sienna » Sun Dec 26, 2010 9:52 pm

Well it's official. I'm thoroughly sick and tired of all the rain and bad weather. It is currently peeing down while I post this. :(
Problem is that if I was to head home it would be raining there too.

Hang in there old girl. I hear a drought is coming in 2012.
Enjoy the rain, then when you get sick of it, enjoy the rain.
I assume its raining at your camp site.

Yes I've had enough and I'm still at home. I'd rather be somewhere else at the moment. Although it is not raining at the present and wind has dropped, yuk very humid. I'm looking at the ocean and it is very brown from all the flood waters coming down the river. We are just waiting here for that fissled out cyclone that is now a monssoonal low to dump all its rain on us. It was suppose to be here last night but looking at Willie Weather we might get a break from it for a couple of days.
But at least the grass is nice and green...lol oh no that means I'llhave to mow it soon... ::()

The humidity has been so high here that I couldn't figure out why I was getting a damp smell in the 4by. I'd lift the mats and the carpets were wet. I thought had a leak but it turned out condensation was building up under the rubber mats and causing the carpets to get wet...

That's true titch.
The weather clearing also it is acoordinf to BOM, funny thing is it is raining here still and pouring in Bundy, so we will just have to wait and see. It might be just isolated showers that last for about 3-4 hrs at a time...lol

Fianlly stopped raining last night. Extremely windy here today as forecast. But at least no rain...fingers crossed. Here's hoping for a some sunshine so we can go sit at the beach.

As for the fires, that's not good. Happens in WA every year at this time of year. My sister's ex is a volunteer firey in his local brigade and they're always on high alert at this time of year.

Yes Blowing a gale but at least i opened the house and garage up to dry, water came in downstairs last night so everything wet and smelly; I also rescued my nieces weggie wabbit which is downstairs and don`t they p,o,o a lot and smell..The lawn and weeds are out of control as well as the washing, though did a load of the nessesities?*spelling* this morning and hung it in the garage. Dogs have cabin fever and need a bath, floors need a mop but take forever to dry so there is always tomorrow.
Sienna i`m off work tomorrow and Thursday if you would like to come for a cuppa and lunch and maybe dry out a bit, your are welcome to bring washing or anything you need done,i don`t have a drier but have the garage and any urgents i put in my hot water system cupboard, lucky for that or i would be going to work in the nuddy. will pm you my number unless you still have it.
