Back from the dead

Postby Gold Coast Camper » Thu Jan 20, 2011 12:36 am

Hi everyone, yes it's me, Amanda, back after 6 months! Sorry I've been missing, but life took me in another direction for a while, however I'd love to renew my old friendships - hope you've all been well, and I can't wait to start chatting again! I have really missed you all.

Now all I need to do is figure out how to get back to being "ananda" and not gold coast camper.

Thanks GL - it's nice to be back. Andrew sent me a message yesterday, so we'll get it sorted, but I guess it doesn't really matter - I can be called Gold Coast Camper or anything else for that matter, just so glad to be back under any name. Is Derek still around? Haven't really had a good look around the site, but don't seem to see anything recent from him. He moved to Darwin didn't he?

Think he moved from Darwin Amanda but not sure if he moved back this way or elsewhere. He is hosting a camp oven cookout at Thora near Bellingen over Easter.

Have a look back through the old threads and you will see that we finally got a group camp off the ground, finally. Not a big one, but one all the same.

Lots happened during your absence....including the upgrade of the forum which did not go all that smoothly. Still some bugs but I think we'll just have to learn to live with them.

The forum has been very quiet for some time now too....needs livening up. We seem to have lost a few members along the way as well.

A couple of the regulars are still lurking though.

Welcome back Amanda......Hope you got through our floods ok,....
As the 'OLE BLONDE BIRD SAYS'.....it has been very quiet on here the last few weeks and I'm sure the recent flooding right up the East coast hasn't helped.......Has surely taken the shine off heading off camping for awhile...
ANYWAY.......Lets hope things pick up soon

Cheers

Hi Amanda.
Welcome back.
We're planning a camp off in the next few weeks after my bub is born. Somewhere up the sunny coast area so the new member from bundy can join us.
Hope you can come.
