Hi ! don't know if you've sorted all your camping spots but if your looking for a good one just this side of where the KI ferry leaves try Rapid Bay is the go $6pp.
We stay there quite a bit even though its only half a hour away from us.
I can post a pic if u like.

About 15 to 20ks from the ferry, no booking not too much in amenities but enough, not many rules and camp where u fit or like. Salmon at sunset from the beach Garr/Squid from the jetty and if the weathers good you can camp right on the beach. Watch out for winds though as your out on the end of the peninsular and it gets up some times, we lost our last tent in an off shore blow that way! Will probably be there next week end myself now that I've re read this!LOL
Sorry its the camp grounds ,its an old quarry and basically a abandoned town.

Just had a look Titch...Looks like a nice place to unwind

gently release anything (including rays and sharks)
If you do get to go fishing and pull in a Ray....They are an underestimated eating fish...... Run your knife along the top of the gristle in the wing and peel off...fry in butter...YUM....AND FOR HEAVENS SAKE....Don't try eating the bottom of the wing,,,,they are full of sand.
