I actually wanted to wait and see how long it took for someone else to post and it was over 26 hours. Bit of a worry when this forum used to be sooooo active.

I had plenty to say but chose not to in order to see the outcome.

Do you see this as being a problem GP? You make a lot of posts saying its quiet. Maybe if this is the norm then it's not a problem, it's just the way it is.

I understand that many other forums may have more activity but this one has had the same level of activity for ages, years even, it has even had quite a lot of less activity than it has now, so i think it's going well really.

(not having a go at you or anything, just throwing around some ideas)

I would not be concerned if this had always been the 'norm' for this forum....but it has not. It is now extremely quite and I am concerned about that.

I see many of our members still posting on other forums and wonder why they no longer come here.....what has happened for them to no longer visit and post on this forum.

i dunno, it thought it was always pretty quiet. It's kind of like Bold and Beautifull or Days of our Lives, you can go away for a year and come back and you haven't missed anything? GP is still having a go at people, Rosco is cracking jokes and Stevo is the cool one? :booty

I remember when i first joined it was more deaderer than this, it'd go a week or two before there was a new post.

Are we talking about the same forum?? This has not been the case in my time on here.....yes we have had the odd time when it has been a bit quiet for a few days but this last lot has been going on for months now.

Just look at the number of members who were regulars who no longer visit here....

well we need some kind of stat proof, because i remember a time when it was a week between posts, maybe that was before you turned up. I've seen a few forums with that as the norm, i don't see it as a problem really. I guess it depends on what you want to achieve? For the owner of a website they want it to be busy for either money or status purposes, which wont matter to you GP, so what would be your main goal for traffic? I assume just for a social side i guess? ... i think one main issue here is having an active administration, you'd have to start at the top and work down with the issues, ... gees i need another rumbo, it's getting complex :cheers

I think I 70/30 agree with you Padfoot....Especially up here in Queensland....Very hard to keep motivated after going through what we have had this year.........Come on Winter .....
I also think 'Titchgate' took its toll as well......and never recovered from that shock.

:cheers

Being new here I watch to get the feel or vibe of the site (positive so far!) but don't always post plus this site isn't working properly for me with notifications and screen name.
