Oh how GORGEOUS they are Titch and how very lucky for you to have such an exciting encounter with such BBBeautiful creatures.

I have to fess up, it was in the seal bay area under the watch of the Rangers.
The seals are use to people and the Rangers keep people away from them.
Was still a thrill.

I believe that too......when I went to Pt Labatt conservation park which of course is a viewing platform atop the cliff (so not very close) I found the experience very exhilarating. It was one of the highlights of my trip and an unexpected one as well.
