You should have gone over in your uniform Rosco......and I think the depth might be overwhelming this time with Avis.

Can you get a refund then since they refuse to supply the service? Sure they can keep $20 admin fee, but really, i think if they don't want to provide what you paid for they should refund the money. I guess you'd have to look in to the laws about that stuff.

I agree Stevo....hit them up with Fair Trading Rosco and see what they have to say then.

$180 is a lot of money to kiss goodbye. Mind you I always have ISSUES with vouchers that have a time limit on them.

From memory, the company didnt have to re issue the voucher as a condition of the voucher was it had to be used in a certain time frame.

yep....it does say on the voucher ''NO REFUNDS;;.....AND HE DID GIVE ME AN EXTENSION ONCE BEFORE....
I brought up the fair trading act and he still refused another extension citing that coles, woolworths etc won't...I even tried the old ...word of mouth can be your best advert....he never budged...
I do think he was in the right...but...would have been nice if he had agreed to another one...
On the bright side....theres no snapper on the reefs around here for another month yet anyway.,,,so,,,I wouldn't have missed much.
Life is not about how hard you can hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.

ONLY the LOSS of $180 which you could have spent camping Rosco.

AND the worst of it is that they got your money and provided you with nothing in return....as good as stealing in my book.

Yeah i dont agree with the use by date thing, i think money was exchanged for a service and they should either take you out or give you a refund.
