I had to google it to find out what it was.

It looks tops! I sometimes drive through Boggabri on my way to my parents place but never stopped to smell the damper. I might have to next year.

Have a great time!

Sorry couldn't get the descriptions lined up properly so thought I'd get off while I'm not swearing !!! My dogs comes with us everywhere we go complete with house. Picture of campfire is our new addition, didn't actually have that one at Boggabri, had an Ozpig but in my opinion this one is better, using it at Burren Junction Bore, made heaps of yummy dishes in it including sticky date pudding !!!!

Sorry Gypsy, the first photo is ferret racing, they put the ferret into the pipe at one end and then block the hole off. The owner then races to the other end to coax their ferret out!! lots of fun. Some of them had to tip the pipe to get at their pet!!

There were 330 Vans there. Plus day trippers. So I think there would have been at least 700 people there. The funniest thing was the Local people putting on skits. They were hilarious!! Men dressed up as women doing the can-can. Songs sung by Ray Stevens like "Along came Jones and others were acted out, very funny kept everyone laughing!! They had Village peoples YMCA etc etc. Very good weekend. Showers and toilets provided. We had a good time, rebooked for next year.

cheers.

Ferret racing, hey.....does look like fun as well. Any good bush poets??

Might have to give some serious thought to going myself next year....bit early to commit as I have a few other irons in the fire at the moment and will have to see how they pan out.

If they have a promotional website, might be an idea to post it up here early in 2012.

I used to like going to the Camp Oven Festival at Millmerran but it has gotten too big and too many people for me these days. I like people but don't like crowds.

PS
Val....have tidied up your pics a bit for you. If I have quoted anything incorrectly, let me know and I will change it.
