I would like ot see what you have all made, to make things easier when camping/driving etc..
I am heading out camping this weekend, and will be making/taking a home made awning.

So what you made?

One camping trip I went on, was with my mate and his family to Gulgong.
Was a top spot, on a creek etc...
anyways.... they had a bit of washing they needed hanging up, so the rope line went up, and the clothes just hung over it, but my mates mum was getting a annoyed that they kept falling off, so the "boy scout" in me kicked in, and so i went about making pegs. Found some nice fallen tree branches, got my trusty knife out and started to make a slit in the branch. it was tricky at first, but once i managed to work out the best branch, length and splitting method, pegs where made.

happy campers.

while out at shapr park, my daughter had nothing to use in the creek, and after watching all the kids
use body boards etc... i made a small floatation device.
2x rubber floor matts, 2x luggage straps.
rolled up the 2 matts together then strapped them together. it worked well.
then we changed the setup, layed both matts out flat, then weived the starps through the holes, to make it tay together, as our own "makeshift body board"

Cheers - dave
