Caravan Parks around geelong,vic, recommendations

Postby karendegraaf » Mon Apr 25, 2011 2:24 pm

Hi Everyone, Looking to go to Geelong around Christmas, this will be our first major camping trip on our own, last christmas went camping with brother and his family, my kids 7 and 9. My boy wants to go to adventure park in geelong so thought we might go somewhere down there. I really like big 4 because of what they over for kids and their facilities but alot of the parks seem to charge about $120 a night over the christmas period, Does anyone know of any parks there with good facilities that don't charge the earth over christmas. thanks for any ideas in advance

Might have to wait for some of the Victorians to come online Karen.

I do understand that Karen. Have you had a look back through some of the old posts here on the forum?? It might give you the info you are looking for.

Hi Karen,
I am a Geelong local. I think you should try either barwon heads or ocean grove. Friends if ours have stayed at barwon heads and they liked it :-)
