With kids, I'd suggest the Blue Dolphin. Plenty of things for them to do and fishing on your doorstep (or tent flap in this case). They have kids pool, activity room, sail boat hire etc. Facilities, including a fully fitted out camp kitchen, are clean and immaculately kept. It's a little on the expensive side, but the kids will love it. Not a suitable spot if you prefer to "rough" it.

Blue Dolphin would have to be the best place in Yamba but also one of the most expensive caravan parks in Australia.

Check them out at http://www.freespiritresorts.com.au/bdhr/

Yamba

Why not try Iluka. Other side of the Clarence river. Price is much better. Nice and quiet. If you really want to get to Yamba there is a ferry that runs there a few times a day. Fishing is just as good. We stay at the council park right on the river itself. Paradise
