Great Ocean Road

We're planning a trip from central NSW, down the Great Ocean Road and back home via Echucha, in Sept/Oct this year. We'll be taking our Jayco Swan and would love any ideas/tips you can give. We'll have around 2 weeks to do the trip in.

It's my 40th birthday present to myself so really want to have a great trip! :beer

I was at Echuca at Christmas. Keep an eye out near the wharf for a shop that sells port barrels. Shouted myself a 5 litre oak keg, then filled it with a fine port.

It's gonna last years. :***

Kennett River, south of Lorne, is a great spot to stop on the Great Ocean Road. You can camp straight across from the beach, and yet you don't have the crowds or inflated prices that come with Lorne, and to a lesser extent, Angelsea.
