Wish we had daylight savings in Qld

A place to talk about anything well just about anything (this is a family show remember).

Wish we had daylight savings in Qld

Daylight already...could be out doing something......playing 9 holes of golf after work,,going to the beach,,gardening,,starting work when its cooler / getting out of the hot warehouse you work in an hour earlier,,would bring us into line with other traders on the East coast,,Getting away earlier for camping trips after work...more light to do your ''set-up'' when you get there,,swiming,,spending time with your family....Even start your ''5 O'clocksies an hour earlier...lol...The list goes on

More people here want it than don't....only problem is that theres so many people who have recently moved here and their vote to change it doesn't count...bummer

Will have to wait till the old ''Dinky-die'' Queenslanders see the light.....

(And NO....Your curtains won't fade faster with the extra hour of sunlight !!!!!!!!)

Have a GREAT day........... :)
Life is not about how hard you can hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.

Me too, I am with you Rosco......LOVE daylight saving and like you said, it does not fade the curtains or make the cows milk sour or any of that other rubbish they tried to brainwash us with over the years.
