Murrindindi Scenic Reserve

Hey all :hello:

Newbie here! Thought I'd jump right in.

Looking for a place to camp round NY in Victoria, not too far from Melbourne. Have found a PDF on Murrindindi Scenic Reserve but it's dated 2006 (http://www.dpi.vic.gov.au/CA256F310024B628/0/E9424A2050BE857ACA25720B000BA3FC/$File/FS0010+-+Murrindindi+Scenic+Reserve+-+Camping+Guide.pdf).

Has anyone been there recently? I know the fires went through there a few years ago.
Cheers,
Duane

I was there a few Months ago with my son.
It's a great spot and all facilities are brand new.
I especially like the concrete fire pits with swing over BBQ plate.
Son met up with some other kids and all had a paddle in nice safe area of stream.

I only took a few pics mainly of my son: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ozwebfx/se ... 641199753/

I took more pics at Rubicon last week: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ozwebfx/se ... 790110075/

I should really take the time to select just the best shots instead of just throwing them all up on flickr :(

Great pics Richard :+ :+ :+

Looks like the kids had an absolute ball!!!! Had to have a little chuckle at the Rubicon pics of the guy in the chair watching the CT being set up!!!! Actually he looks like he loves his chair as he is in it alot!!!!!

You should post a pic of your setup in the Show us your campsite section on here.

I take it yours was the two 3 man tents????

Thanks for looking, next time I'll post more of the setting up etc, mine was just the little one at the back next to the Commodore.
My mate next to me was in the other dome, he's looking to get a rooftop temt for his pathfinder and I'm still undecided between canvas or dome.
