Saw this one on Facebook and thought it had the potential for a poll question on our forum.

Its an open & screwed shut case Gypsy.....

It quite clearly says on each brand I looked at in the supermarket this morning-

For anyone who has lived through hot and humid times, especially in northern climes, I feel the best spot is the fridge. You know then there are no surprises of a sauce that tastes "funny or sour", or little creatures stuck around the lid.The taste of "fermenting red "tastes the edge off a snag, chop or meat pie. I too heed label advice of most items theses days and refrigerate after opening. Those old days of unfridged condiments are long gone I feel!

The '''''''Only'''''thing in XB's favour Mike is that where she lives,,,,,way down south....it would be like living inside a fridge.....(not sure if she would even own one...lol)

As much as i hate cold sauce on a hot pie/steak etc i do keep it in the fridge.and the other thing i hate about sauce is when you go to some ones house and the lid is covered with old black sauce..food poisoning right there which apparently i got as a little kid from the sauce bottle.
The Lord is my shepard,i shall not want......only sometimes.

Me too PJ.....but from the new sauce that was opened and I ended up very, very sick in the Hughenden hospital.

My family all had sauce from the newly opened bottle whilst the stockman had the sauce from the old bottle.....we all ended up in hospital with food poising and the stockman was fine.....go figure that one.

Awwww cmon Rosco cut me some slack..... :*** :*** :*** :***

It is starting to get quite warm here again and starting to feel like it's nearly summer...

We usually have 40 degree days over Dec,Jan & Feb but the last 2 years the weather has been a little weird.

22 years of keeping the open sauce bottle in the pantry and so far so good.... :booty
